Maureen N. McLane

Zagajewski1Maureen N. McLane lives in Cambridge, MA and teaches in the Committee on Degrees in History and Literature at Harvard. She is the author of a poetry chapbook, This Carrying Life, and two books of literary criticism, Romanticism and the Human Sciences, and the forthcoming Balladeering, Minstrelsy, and the Making of British Romantic Poetry. Her articles on poetry, contemporary fiction, teaching, and sexuality have appeared in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, Boston Review, and other venues. In 2003 she won the National Book Critics Circle Nona Balakian Award for Excellence in Book Reviewing.
