April Is Not in Fact the Cruelest Month

With respect to T.S. Eliot, we disagree. (Everyone knows it's February.) April means the return of our little blog and, more importantly, National Poetry Month

We have a lot in store for poetry fans, including the return of our FSG Poem a Day email. (Sign up here!) This year we're focusing more on younger poets and international work.

On the site, FSG publisher Jonathan Galassi, our poets, and our friends at Graywolf Press will be dropping in periodically. We'll highlight some of our favorite April events throughout the country, and provide audio coverage when possible.

In short: we've planned out quite a lot. I don't want to ruin the surprise(s) here, so you'll have to check back and see for yourself.

See you in the comments,
Ryan
