Born in 1970, Devin Johnston was raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is author of three books of poetry, was well as two books of prose, including Creaturely and Other Essays, reflections on the natural world. He works as an editor for Flood Editions, a nonprofit publishing house, and teaches at Saint Louis University in Missouri. His new poetry collection Traveler will be published in September 2011.
Glyn Maxwell was born in 1962 in Welwyn Garden City, England. He is author of several collections of poems, including Out of the Rain, for which he received a Somerset Maugham Award; Rest for the Wicked, which was short-listed for both the Whitbread Poetry Award and the T.S. Eliot Prize; and The Breakage, which was short-listed for both the T.S. Eliot and the Forward Poetry (Best Poetry Collection of the Year) prizes. His One Thousand Nights and Counting: Selected Poems will be published in September 2011. Maxwell lives in London.
Christian Wiman, born and raised in West Texas. He is the editor of Poetry and the author of three collections of poems, Every Riven Thing (2010), Hard Night (2005) and The Long Home (2007), and one collection of prose. He lives in Chicago.
